Paul Franklin

Mr. Paul has served individuals within the Developmental Disabilities Community for the past 13 years. In 2007, Mr. Paul began his service by simply helping a family member to regularly participate in community activities such as cultural and sporting events. From 2008-2017, Mr. Paul increased his experience interacting daily with DD Community members while employed with the San Diego Unified School District. In 2017, Mr. Paul relocated to Cleveland, Ohio where he assumed the position Director of Compliance, in addition to other responsibilities related to Non-Medical Transportation and Home Personal Care, for the Provider Agency Faithful Homes operating in Cuyahoga County.

Director Of Compliance

Serving four years as Director of Compliance has given Mr. Paul a tremendous understanding of the importance of accurate documentation, the development of policies and procedures and the implementation and adherence to State rules and regulations. Under Mr. Paul’s leadership in this department, Faithful Homes has successfully passed two State conducted compliance reviews.

The knowledge and experience Mr. Paul has gained as a Compliance Director, Human Resource Director, Non-Medical Transportation Driver, and a Direct Service Provider has transferred into the successful organization and operation of Collective Care.

Shared Living & Home Personal Care

From 2018-2020, Mr. Paul shared residency with three great friends who are members of the Developmental Disabilities Community. During this time, Mr. Paul assisted the three friends with meal preparation, house cleaning, doctors appointments, medication administration, conflict resolution, planning community activities and travel.

The shared living experience has strengthened Mr. Paul’s understanding and commitment to protecting the individual rights and aspirations of each friend served. It has also increased Mr. Paul’s patience, compassion and recognition that our friends are equal citizens with the same personal freedoms as the rest of society.
